Sinterklaas went wild last night
Last night Sinterklaas hit the ISN borrel at the Heffer and it was a lot of fun. Zwartepieten were also walking around making friends with all the international students that wonder what’s this Dutch costum… Anyways, Sinterklaas was cool, he was drinking beer and smoking sigarettes, like all kids would’ve imagine… Check out the pics below! You must have seen charity events being organized in and around the HES lately. Well today one of the most original has been organized, they have been busy with it all day but the result looks good! As you can see on the picture these guys are sponsoring Greenpeace and they arranged globes filled with air and a human body! huh yeah you can actually walk on water with these things! Pretty awesome but you’re gonna fall non stop. Check it out...

Last Saturday 28 Nov we went to SnowPlanet to start getting the winter spirit. With sold out tickets to the activity, we departed around 12am by bus to one of the best winter sport venues of Holland. This place has 2 zones, one small hill for those who still don’t know how to manage the board or skis and on the other side there is a bigger hill where those who already know how to rock & roll in the snow. DAM tot DAM by night and by day
Congratulations to all of those who have run the DAM tot DAM (16km from AmsterDAM until ZaanDAM). This race is organized every year since the last 25 years so this time to celebrate there was a “by night” version where more than 25.000 people participated, it is the biggest sport event of the year (according to RTV-NH). . I, Nico, ran for the first time ever the 16,1 km and even though it’s not half marathon, it is still quite long....

Book Fair – Thursday 10th 10am-3pm – Bring your books and sell/buy them!
On thursday 10th from 10am until 3pm there will be a book fair at the Atrium. How is this Book Fair going to be??? During the book fair you can sell and buy second hand books. Babylonix will sell your books during the whole day while you go to your lessons. How? Bring those books that you want to sell to the Atrium (first floor, in front of the elevators). We will place them in 4 zones ( first year, second year, etc). You have to choose the price...
